Porsche Design and PTC announce partnership for Philips bran

　　70PD9000 ELED TV is Coming to the Greater China Region

　　Stuttgart/XY. Porsche Design and PTC Technology Co. Ltd， responsible for Philips branded televisions in China， are announcing a partnership to launch an ELED TV that combines the functional and clear design philosophy of Porsche Design with innovative display technologies. It will be launched in the Greater China Region starting from July 2020.

　　The new TV model 70PD9000 has a 70 inch display with advanced Quantum Dot technology， micro dimming function， HDR10， Dolby Vision and the P5 Premium Picture Engine. It also boasts the Philips 3-sided Ambilight which creates an immersive experience and an overall cozy atmosphere in the room. The design is pure and functional， featuring a seamless thin screen， which has a strong and at the same time elegant frame construction. Even before the official launch， the exclusive design of the TV has been awarded with the prestigious IF and Red Dot awards.

　　The TV model 70PD9000 combines many innovation highlights of a Philips TV that offer extraordinary enjoyment along with Porsche Design’s pure and functional design philosophy. It adopts a new base bracket that supports the screen and speakers with a unique shape. The brand logos are moved from the screen frame to the bracket so the frame around the large 70” screen looks like a pane of frameless glass， an absolute treat for the eyes from any angle.

　　In terms of product performance， the innovative technologies used in TV model 70PD9000 series includes an advanced Quantum Dot （QD） display technology which has excellent color-rendering properties that deliver superb images and true to life natural colors in the living room. The unique Philips 3-sided-Ambilight， doubles up the immersive experience and viewing comfort， reducing eyestrain when watching TV especially when the TV is the only source of light in a room. It can also be used as ambient lighting when not watching TV. The P5 Premium Picture Engine further improves TV picture quality to an unprecedented level that is unrivalled.

　　Overall， the TV model 70PD9000 has achieved a harmonious combination of innovative functions and aesthetic needs.

　　The new ELED TV model 70PD9000 will be available in mainland China in July and is expected launch in Taiwan by the end of this year.
